1 material- choose the appropriate grade of steel for the beam u will be designing.
2 shape- select the shape of steel beam u would like to design.
3 span- enter the distance u are trying to span
4 bracing- not to be overlooked in determing the capacity
5 load-enter loads base on their type and load case
6 design-use as a code recommande use like IS LRFD, BS
