MS Project is a project planning and management software that you can use to perform project related activities, such as scheduling, resource leveling, making Gantt charts and much more. It is the product of Microsoft Inc. Its similar to Primavera Project Planner and does the same job as the primavera, though their are some differences in the use of terminologies but the overall concept remains the same. In Microsoft Project you input the activities along with their start and end dates and also the user inputs the resources, thus the software calculates the end date of project, total cost, resources available, resource levelling, and ultimately Project Baseline.
