Primaver Installation Errors and Problems..

Hi Guys thsi is the message I received when putting in my computer name and Primavera after it. can any one assist please. This is one of the most frustrating programs to get into.
"Bad public user name or password. Database Server Error: Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connection to SQL Server [53]. ;"
I have followed the steps to the letter and Still  can't get into it!       Appreciate any feed back.
